Bates Motel ̶ and thus Psycho ̶ got me thinking about those movies with twists so surprising and genius that they’ve become part of our pop culture; movies with endings so enduring that even if you haven’t seen the films, you know how they end.
Well, if ever there were some characters that deserved a spin-off it was definitively these two…
After getting the vague whisper that Star Wars spin-offs were part of Disney’s grand scheme, there was little else said about it. But now, we get a glimpse of just what they have in store. And it is pretty glorious.
In a somewhat Romeo & Juliet scenario, J.J. Abrams seems to have been chosen to direct the coveted Star Wars: Episode VII, bringing together two fueding houses both alike in dignity. Ok, I’ll stop.
Over the weekend it was announced who would be undertaking the Star Wars: Episode VII script. It is none other than Academy Award winning writer Michael Arndt. Don’t know who he is? That’s ok. I didn’t either.
Gentle Giant has crafted some new loot, notably their new line of vintage Star Wars toys that harken back to the days of low safety standards and when lead paint roamed free. But seriously, their vintage Star Wars collection is sans lead paint and still pretty cool.
We’ve been pretty busy over the last couple days at Star Wars Celebration. Other than Thursday’s post about Day 1, we’ve been just too tired to keep up! BUT!
